Kodex Update 0.2.5 - October 12, 2026
A stability and polish update focused on smoother Library browsing, easier mod installation, and clearer Kodex Plus subscription details. We've also refreshed parts of the web experience and tightened up a few everyday interactions.
New Features & Improvements
Halloween skin dropped! Claim it in "Available Skins" in the Skins tab from the profile dropdown.
Easier Access to Kodex Plus: Added an Upgrade to Plus button on the download page and a new Plus introduction on the home page on web, making it easier to explore the benefits and upgrade.
Smoother Mod Installation: Improved the mod installation experience on Windows. If CurseForge isn't installed, Kodex now takes you to the CurseForge download page instead of opening the Microsoft Store.
Bug Fixes & Improvements
Library Buttons & Playlists: Fixed issues on Windows that prevented filters, playlists, search, and other controls from responding to clicks across Library, Stream, and GeForce NOW.
Installed Games Filter: Fixed the Installed filter so it correctly shows installed games and stays selected when you reopen a saved playlist.
Owned Games in Your Library: Games marked as owned now appear when you return to your Library, without needing to sign out and back in.
Kodex Plus Billing Details: Fixed annual plans displaying monthly billing information and corrected issues with outdated next billing dates.
More Reliable Sign-In: Addressed issues that could unexpectedly sign you out or interrupt your session while using the desktop app.
Smoother Loading Screens: Improved the desktop loading screen so it better follows the page's progress, addressing cases where it could get stuck or disappear too early.
Profile Selection Layout: Fixed profile cards getting cut off when resizing the window.
Visual Polish: Tidied up badge alignment on Mod Details, adjusted the Plus label's spacing, and refreshed the heading on the web signup page.
General Improvements: Applied behind-the-scenes updates to improve app reliability, strengthen account security, and support more dependable subscription handling.
