Kodex Update 0.2.8 - October 26, 2026

A polish and reliability update focused on smoother reconnections, clearer skin previews, and a more consistent look across Kodex. We've also refined the loading artwork and added video support to game-specific Kai responses on the web.

• Video Links in Kai Responses: Added support for embedded video links in game-specific Kai responses on the web, making related videos easier to access.

• Updated Skin Previews: Refreshed the preview images for Fiona, Luna, Axel, and Zane so they better reflect how each skin looks in the app.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Returning to Kodex: Fixed an issue that could show a connection error when returning to the desktop app after leaving it running in the background.

• Connection Recovery: Fixed an issue that could leave the desktop app on the offline screen even after your internet connection returned.

• Skins Page Layout: Fixed content becoming misaligned or moving off-screen when widening the app window. The Skins page now stays centered with more consistent spacing.

• Sharper Loading Artwork: Refined the Kodex logo on the loading splash screen to remove jagged edges for a cleaner appearance.

• General Improvements: Improved behind-the-scenes data handling and privacy safeguards, with additional reliability checks for account and payment features.
